Hi, I’m Jacalyn Fort, founder of TrueCode Advisors and a passionate advocate for clean claims, compliant coding, coder and provider education.

My journey into healthcare began in 2015 at a chiropractic office, where I quickly found myself fascinated by the world of medical billing and ICD-10 codes. That early curiosity led me to roles in radiology and cancer diagnostics. Eventually, I transitioned into full-time hospital coding — and never looked back.

With multiple certifications and years of hands-on experience across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty services, I launched TrueCode Advisors to bring clarity, confidence, and compliance to healthcare teams like yours. I’ve helped providers reduce denials, improve documentation, and train their teams to code with purpose.

I’m also a proud mentor through AAPC, where I support up-and-coming coders on their journey to certification and career success.
